Another morning in Ulaanbaatar. First we visited the Gandan Khiid (monastery) which is located in the centre of the city. It seems quite run-down but there is a rebuilding project underway. The monks were calling the faithful to prayer at 9.00am and people could be seen circling the buildings and structures, spinning the prayer wheels.

Then we took some photos of the Chinggis Khaan (Genghis Khan) monument, in front of the Parliament Building, before heading over to the nearby National Museum.
